Plant LifeI am a seed.
I am buried under a layer of dark soil.
I am protected.
I am small.
I am a sprout.
I am reaching for the sun to embrace me.
I am delicate.
I am curious.
I am a root.
I am searching for what I need in my surroundings.
I am pale.
I am thin.
I am a stem.
I am constantly supporting myself.
I am stronger.
I am alive.
I am a leaf.
I am filled with disorganized veins.
I am fragile.
I am unfurled.
I am a bud.
I am not yet ready to be seen.
I am cute.
I am patient.
I am a flower.
I am standing out for everyone to see.
I am beautiful.
I am proud.

Could You?One smile was all it took
Who thought a heart could break this quickly?
One glance, one stare
Did you even remember that I was there?
Your eyes locked on her face
Who thought a heart could crumble into decay?
There are so many things I want to say
So many things I want to scream in your face
So many tears I tried to hide
When I said I felt better, could you tell that I lied?
Could you tell that this is eating away at me?
The image won't go away
I try to remind myself of happiness and glee
But I remember when you were with her, and not me
Now you tell me you love me, I trust you with that

Don't You Know?Don't you know that you're taking her for granted?
She's not going to be there for you for long if you're never there for her
Why don't you call her every once in a while, see if she's okay
She'll appreciate it more than you think
Show her that you truly love her, tell her she's your everything

Bed of Lies, Rain of DeathThis layout of thorns you call a bed,
cinnamon spice for holy sheets;
You've become lethargic,
immobile,

Together starts to fall.
Rain splatters crimson diamonds,
across sacred asphalt.

critters and hearts alike fall to their

The Fall of Folly

Hello, and welcome to the show,
I do not have clues, but this is clear,
The man in the mirror that you see before you,
He's quite the indefinite character,

You see the face, you see the scars,
But every time the man looks, he quakes,
Bashing, Punching dare I say, crumbles the mirror,
No one cares,

Cares for people, but hates himself,
Well, What a contradicted fellow,
Tearing, Smashing into pieces, the life he made,
Yet builds the folly in his life,

One day goes by, the man in the mirror has disappeared,
With little utterances, he begins to question the road of direction,
Why reasoning?, Why insight?,
must I burden myself with t

The Pessimist and the Optimist

An opposite unlikely
Together, forever seen
Holding their hands tenderly
Unfolded in a reverie

One is a darker nature
Who sees the bitter side of things
Who can not discern the positive
But knows exactly what are kings

The other a sheltered hope
Who lives in a narrow world
Who chooses to disregard
The opinion to be hurled

With one or the other
They are the split of souls
A broken half to the other
Until forever never tolls

The skeptical deserves
Someone, a far cry away
From all he looks down upon
Beyond his haunted casement

A care-free spirit
Would lose her sense of direction
Without a map or sight to lead
Her thoughts, only another

Eye of the BeholderEye of heaven, warm and bright, please guard my
sensibilities tonight. Dear friend who
watches from above, do me one favor
if you'd be so kind–please bathe me in your
light to give me the strength to love tonight.
Take my hand with your feathery embrace

When Silence Spoke

My head does not want to befriend reality
Persisting as it refuses to deal with normality
Disgusted I am with all forms of humanity
Society gave me nothing and everything but amity

I cannot hear, see nor can I talk due to my fatuity
But still I remain the loyal loving widow of civility
A tear didn't move them, I doubt my scream's dexterity

Looking at me, all they see is Lucifer's vanity
Somewhere in an abyss I lost my reason for Sanity
Suffocating under the dead sea of all formality
While eating me alive; the cannibalistic irregularity
